The small oil and vinegar bottle holds 3.4 oz and stands 5.9" tall on a 2.5" base, in allergy-free borosilicate 3.3 glass made in Germany. It is a table bottle, sized for a finishing oil or a good vinegar you pour by the spoonful rather than the cupful. Because the glass is non-porous, it does not hold the smell of what was in it. Small bottles get switched around more than large ones, so that matters here: a chili oil this month and a plain white wine vinegar next month, with nothing carried between them. Heat resistant, dishwasher safe and microwaveable. It is also the right size for infusing a small batch with peppers, basil or rosemary without committing half a liter of oil to the experiment.

Materials & Care
Borosilicate 3.3 allergy-free glass, made in Germany. Heat resistant. Dishwasher safe. Microwaveable. Wash between different oils or infusions. Borosilicate 3.3 does not react with vinegar, citrus or oil, so the glass will not corrode or cloud and nothing carries over between refills. The only substances that etch it are hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali above 212 F, which is laboratory territory rather than a kitchen counter.
