Origo Orange Mug Without Handle

This is the Origo mug without a handle, which makes it closer to a tumbler than a mug. Porcelain, 0.25 L or about 8.5 oz, in Alfredo Haberli's striped Origo pattern with the orange tones leading. Losing the handle makes it more useful, not less. It takes espresso and coffee, tea, and mulled wine in winter; it also works cold, and it turns up as a serving vessel for parfaits, dips and single-portion appetizers. Handleless pieces stack, so a set of them takes up a shelf rather than a shelf and a half. The stripe is the reason to buy it. Origo in orange is loud in a controlled way, and one or two pieces do more for a table than a whole matching service.
