An 84 oz glass jug in borosilicate 3.3 glass, made by Trendglas JENA. It holds 2.5 liters, which is a full pitcher of juice, iced tea, water or a batch cocktail for a table rather than a single refill. Borosilicate matters here more than it does in a tumbler. The glass is EU certified as pore-free and odor-free, so a pitcher that held a sharp cocktail on Saturday is not still carrying it on Sunday morning, and there is nothing for flavor to soak into over years of use. It is also heat resistant, microwave safe and dishwasher safe. It measures 9.8 in tall, 6.9 in wide and 5.9 in deep, and the shape is plain enough to leave out on the table between refills.

Borosilicate 3.3 glass, EU certified allergy-free and pore-free. Heat resistant. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Borosilicate 3.3 is chemically inert, so acidic drinks like hibiscus, lemon and rosehip do not attack the glass. It will not corrode, cloud or take on flavor from what you brewed in it yesterday. Only hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali will etch this glass, and only above 212 F, which is to say nothing that belongs in a kitchen.
