Flutes Good Size - Set of 2

The Flûte Good Size is built narrow and thin-walled, with an opening and a tightened rim that concentrate what a sparkling wine gives off rather than letting it escape across a wide bowl. That shape is doing work on both the nose and the palate, and it is why a good flute is not interchangeable with any tall glass. Inside the base is a perlage point, the starting point of the effervescence. Bubbles form there and rise in continuous strings rather than scattering, which is the visible part of a well-made flute and the reason the wine keeps moving in the glass. The glass is crystalline with Nesium, which makes it both robust and flexible, so a thin-walled flute does not have to be handled as though it will fold. Each flute stands 8.5 in tall on a 2.75 in foot and holds 9 oz. Made in Europe, boxed as a set of two.
