The IBRIK is a small glass coffee pot built on the shape of the Turkish coffee pot. It holds 16.9 oz and is made from borosilicate 3.3 with a pore free surface, heat resistant to 842 F. The glass handle is what makes it useful beyond its own category. It gives you a firm grip and a controlled angle, so the pot doubles as an espresso decanter or as a pour over water pot when you want the stream to land exactly where you aim it. It goes on the stovetop, in the microwave and in the dishwasher, which is unusual for a pot this size and this shape. Made in Germany. It measures 4 in high, 7.7 in wide and 4.1 in deep.

Borosilicate 3.3 glass with a pore free surface, made in Germany. Heat resistant to 842 F. Dishwasher safe. Microwaveable. Stovetop safe. Acid is what wears out cheaper glass and metal infusers, and borosilicate 3.3 is resistant to it. Lemon, rosehip and hibiscus will not corrode or cloud the surface, and nothing you brew carries over in taste. It takes hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid or strong alkali above 212 F to etch this glass, which puts it well outside kitchen use.
