The FOR TWO is a 16.9 oz glass pot paired with a simple stainless steel funnel, and it is one of the most used pots Trendglas JENA makes. The glass is laboratory grade borosilicate 3.3, which is why it goes anywhere: microwave, dishwasher, straight onto a gas flame, even the freezer. The funnel is fine woven stainless mesh, so no paper filter is needed. Set it on top of the pot and you are brewing coffee for two. Set it on a single cup instead and you are brewing one. Heat-resistant laboratory borosilicate 3.3 glass pot with a stainless steel fine mesh funnel. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe. Suitable for the gas flame and the freezer. Rinse the mesh soon after brewing so grounds do not dry into it. This glass does not react with what goes in it. Daily hibiscus, lemon or rosehip will not corrode the surface, cloud it or leave a flavor behind for the next cup. The only substances that etch borosilicate 3.3 are hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali, and only above 212 F. None of them live in a home kitchen.
