The BARI is a 1.3 liter glass jug, 44 oz, made from Trendglas Jena borosilicate 3.3 glass. It handles coffee, juice, tea, water and sodas, which is the whole reason to own one jug rather than three. Borosilicate is pore-free and resists odor absorption, and the European Union has certified it allergy-free. In practice that means a jug of orange juice in the morning leaves nothing behind for iced tea in the afternoon, and the glass stays neutral in taste for as long as you own it. It stands 5.7 in high, 6.5 in wide and 5.9 in deep, it is dishwasher safe, and it is made in Germany.

Materials & Care
Heat-resistant borosilicate 3.3 glass, made in Germany. Dishwasher safe. Odorless and neutral in taste. Avoid sudden temperature changes. Borosilicate 3.3 is chemically inert, so acidic drinks like hibiscus, lemon and rosehip do not attack the glass. It will not corrode, cloud or take on flavor from what you brewed in it yesterday. Only hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali will etch this glass, and only above 212 F, which is to say nothing that belongs in a kitchen.
