The Brasil is a manual pour over coffee maker: a Trendglas Jena glass body with a stainless steel mesh filter cone sitting on top. Manual brewing is the point of it, because every variable stays in your hands, including how much coffee you use, how good it is, the water temperature and how fast you pour. The filter is a permanent double layered micro mesh, so no paper is needed. You can still use a paper filter if you prefer a cleaner cup, but the mesh on its own lets the coffee oils through and gives you a fuller brew. Pair it with the Trendglas pour over kettle if you want real control over the pour. At 1.2 liters it makes a pot rather than a cup, which suits a table of people at breakfast or a batch of iced coffee for the afternoon. Heat resistant glass, dishwasher safe, and it measures 9 in high, 5.7 in wide and 6.4 in deep.
