Jumbo Tea Cup with Saucer

This is a jumbo glass cup and saucer that holds 13.5 ounces, which is a full mug of coffee rather than a polite teacup measure. The design is plain on purpose: clear glass, a simple curve, nothing applied to it. The glass is 3.3 borosilicate, produced exclusively in Germany. The surface is smooth and pore free, which is what makes it hygienic and means it does not take on the character of whatever you drank last. It is also why the cup stays light while still taking heat without complaint. It is heat resistant and microwave safe, so a cup that has gone cold can be brought back without moving it to another vessel. The set is one cup and one saucer. Made in Germany by Trendglas Jena.
