VESUV Water Kettle

The VESUV is a 1.1 liter glass water kettle with a glass lid, made for conventional hobs. It works on gas, electric and glass-ceramic, and the base measures 4.7" across so it sits properly on a standard burner or ring. Clear glass turns boiling into something you can actually watch. Steam bubbles climb the sides and you see the moment the water breaks into a rolling boil, which is useful if you care about pulling water off at a particular point for tea or coffee. The non-porous surface is the part allergy sufferers tend to notice. Nothing soaks into the glass, so there is no residue and no carried-over taste, and the inside wipes clean instead of needing to be scrubbed. It measures about 6.2" x 7.6" x 5.9". Heat resistant, dishwasher safe and microwaveable.
