Giorgio - Hip Flask

The Giorgio is a flat stainless steel flask with a real leather cover over the body. The steel is polished, the leather takes the edge off the cold metal in your hand, and the whole thing is slim enough to carry in a jacket pocket without breaking the line of the coat. The top is a flip design on a silver bracket fastener, so the cap stays attached to the flask. Nothing to unscrew fully, nothing to set down on a bar and leave behind. It holds about 5 oz, which is roughly three good pours. Enough to have something decent with you at a wedding, a match, or a cold walk, without carrying a bottle. Philippi is a German design house and this is one of their long-running gift pieces. At $55 it is the kind of thing people keep for years rather than replace.
