A small glass measuring cup holding 5 ounces. This is the one you reach for constantly and never think about: a splash of vinegar, a sauce to spoon over a plate, melted butter, a small batch of anything. Full size jugs are awkward for quantities this small, and the markings on them are too coarse to be useful. It is marked in milliliters and ounces and has a tapered spout, so a thin stream goes where you want it instead of running down the side. Small batch craft work is another common use, for the same reason. The glass is Trendglas Jena borosilicate 3.3, lead free, microwave safe and dishwasher safe. It stands 3.75 inches tall and 2 inches across. Made in Germany.

Borosilicate 3.3 glass, lead free, made in Germany. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe. The glass is chemically inert, so lemon juice, vinegar, tomato and other acidic foods will not corrode or cloud it and no flavor carries over from one use to the next. Only hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali will etch borosilicate 3.3, and only above 212 F.
