This is a one liter glass measuring jug for weighing and measuring both dry and wet ingredients. The graduations cover cups, ounces, liters and milliliters, and there are weight scales as well, so a recipe written in any of those units can be followed without a conversion in your head or a second tool on the counter. It is made of borosilicate 3.3 glass and is microwave safe, which means you can melt butter or warm milk in the same jug you measured it in. It is dishwasher safe when you are done. The footprint is small for the capacity, 6.4 by 4.2 inches, so it stores without taking a shelf hostage. It stands 6.7 inches tall. Made in Germany.

Materials & Care
Borosilicate 3.3 glass, made in Germany. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe. The glass is chemically inert, so lemon juice, vinegar, tomato and other acidic foods will not corrode or cloud it and no flavor carries over from one use to the next. Only hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali will etch borosilicate 3.3, and only above 212 F.
