Black is Blue Serving Bowl - L

A porcelain serving bowl made by hand in Anne Black's Vietnam workshop, 7 in across and 3.78 in deep. The outside carries the black is blue mark at the base. The inside is hand painted with a blue flower pattern you only see once the bowl is empty, which is a quietly good piece of design. The size handles soup, salad or a rice dish for the table. It is also the kind of bowl that stays out between meals with fruit or nuts in it rather than going back into a cupboard. Hand painted means every bowl differs slightly. The brushwork is not printed and it is not identical from piece to piece. Dishwasher safe. Note the size: this is the Large, and an XL is also made.
