Borosilicate 3.3 is certified allergy-free and pore-free. Pore-free is the practical part: nothing soaks into the surface, so a mug that held coffee this morning is a clean mug for tea this afternoon, and the glass does not stain or hold a smell over time. A set of six is a conference room quantity as much as a kitchen one. Each mug is 4.1 in tall, 3.9 in wide and 2.6 in deep, and they are microwave safe, dishwasher safe and heat resistant.

Borosilicate 3.3 glass, produced by Trendglas Jena GmbH. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe. Heat resistant. Avoid sudden temperature changes. This glass does not react with what goes in it. Daily hibiscus, lemon or rosehip will not corrode the surface, cloud it or leave a flavor behind for the next cup. The only substances that etch borosilicate 3.3 are hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali, and only above 212 F. None of them live in a home kitchen.
