The Seau Timbale takes its shape from an old farm milk can: straight sides, a shouldered top, a lid, and a single beechwood handle across it. It is a stainless steel base with a wood handle, and at 9.5 in tall and 6.25 in across it takes a bottle of champagne or wine with ice around it. The lid is the part people do not expect. It is not just a cover for storage. Turn it over and it serves as a dish, so the bucket holds the bottle and the lid holds the olives or whatever else is going round with the first glass. One object, two jobs, and nothing extra to carry to the table.
