The Office Dot Mug is a 13 oz drinking glass in heat-resistant borosilicate 3.3, made in Germany by Trendglas Jena. The design is deliberately plain. There is no decoration competing with what is in the glass, which is the reason people buy clear glassware for coffee and tea in the first place. It is the smaller of the pair. The Office Dot XL holds 7 ounces more, so if you drink a full pot's worth in one sitting, go up a size. For a normal coffee, a tea, or a glass of water on a desk, 13 ounces is the right amount. Borosilicate 3.3 handles heat without complaint, so a mug that came out of the dishwasher can take boiling water straight away. It goes in the microwave too, which means reheating the half cup you forgot about does not require a second vessel.

Materials & Care
Heat-resistant borosilicate 3.3 glass, made in Germany. Dishwasher safe. Microwave safe. This glass does not react with what goes in it. Daily hibiscus, lemon or rosehip will not corrode the surface, cloud it or leave a flavor behind for the next cup. The only substances that etch borosilicate 3.3 are hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid and strong alkali, and only above 212 F. None of them live in a home kitchen.
