Tea for Two is a 13.5 oz glass teapot from Trendglas Jena, sold with a glass infuser and a flat glass lid. It is sized for exactly what the name says: two cups of tea, brewed at once and poured while both are still hot. The shape is deliberate. A short spout and a wide base mean the pot sits steady and pours without needing to be tipped far, which is what you want from a small pot that gets picked up several times a session. It measures 4.9" high by 5.6" wide by 4.09" deep. Everything is glass. The pot is borosilicate 3.3, the infuser is glass, and the lid is flat glass with nothing to snap off. Glass does not absorb, so a strong smoky tea leaves nothing behind for the next brew. Made in Germany, microwave safe and dishwasher safe.

Borosilicate 3.3 heat-resistant glass, made in Germany. Microwave safe. Dishwasher safe. Rinse the infuser soon after brewing. Acid is what wears out cheaper glass and metal infusers, and borosilicate 3.3 is resistant to it. Lemon, rosehip and hibiscus will not corrode or cloud the surface, and nothing you brew carries over in taste. It takes hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid or strong alkali above 212 F to etch this glass, which puts it well outside kitchen use.
